How would you like to experience (without doing the actual word) what copper mining was like more than 3000 years ago? The mine, named copper plate will give you a unique opportunity to see how they mined (with life size figures).
When the industry was at its most productive, 160 miners extracted some 1800 tons of copper ore each year.
In 1926 the unprovitable mines were closed down and the maze of shafts and tunnels abandoned.
A visit to the museum of mine nearby the copper plate would be very interesting.
